HOW WE WORK
Consulting and estimating only
We are not a public adjuster. We do not represent the insured. You stay the contact with the carrier. Our fee is for documentation — not for negotiating or maximizing a claim payout.
-
What you get: a line-item construction estimate — residential or commercial — that documents the cost to repair or rebuild versus a low carrier number. When it matters, betterment versus as-built (code / upgrade cost separated from restore-in-kind).
-
What you keep: you (or your contractor) stay the contact with insurance. Control of carrier communications stays with you.
-
What we do not do: negotiate on your behalf, act as GC, or represent the insured.
-
Site visits: available when photos and measurements matter on the file.
Not a public adjuster. 702 Estimating provides construction estimating and consulting. We do not act as a public adjuster or represent the insured in negotiations with the carrier. Independent estimate only — we do not act as your GC, construction manager, or contractor. Las Vegas, NV.
WHO ALSO HIRES THIS DESK
Public adjusters and carriers
Public adjusters and carriers who need an independent construction estimate or betterment documentation for a file. We write the number — we do not represent the insured, negotiate the claim, or act as a public adjuster.
DOCUMENTATION FEE
How the fee works
Fee is for documentation work. It is either a flat dollar amount, or — on a large loss — a percent of the approved / accepted estimate. That is a documentation fee structure, not a cut of a claim settlement and not “maximize payout” work.
AFTER THE LOSS
Two soft paths
Someone has to carry out the insurance-approved work. You can hire a contractor / GC, or — in Nevada — act as owner-builder and hire licensed trades yourself. Path B is optional; we don’t hard-sell it. On that path, 702 offers consulting and the estimate document — never GC.
